Wondering what the other designs from the Morning Garden Butterflies look like? Here they are - with their matching Butterfly Ensemble backgrounds. Hello, Jean Okimoto here, with more butterflies from my stash of Kaleidacolor-ed watercolor papers.
I like being able to really, really use my all of my supplies and help you do the same. Let's see what we can do with the three other butterflies (six in total) from these two great die sets.
Cut the three Butterfly Ensemble backgrounds from watercolored paper. Cut the detailed matching Morning Garden Butterflies overlays from white cardstock. Cut the antennae from the Morning Garden set from aqua glittered cardstock. Assemble the butterflies - attach the overlay just along the center so they'll lift and flutter upwards.
Cut a 2-½" square of watercolored paper with the Square Basics die.
If your cardstock is heavily-textured, place a side-folded 5-½" x 4-⅛" card between two sheets of printer paper and run it through your diecut machine with the cutting plates to smooth it out a bit for stamping. The card is a bit shorter than the usual 4-¼" to let the butterfly's wing extend beyond the edge - but have the card fit into a standard A-2 envelope. Details, details!
Stamp the greeting - from the Watching the World Bloom set with Imagine Crafts Lilac Posies Memento Luxe. Emboss it with detail clear powder.
Assemble the card and add medium and small clear iridescent sequins.
Love butterflies - but just can't decide which Memory Box butterflies to buy? The Morning Garden Butterflies and Butterfly Ensemble sets are the perfect choice. Mix, match and layer these great designs for beautiful cards for any occasion!
