Morning Garden Butterflies and the Butterfly Ensemble by Jean Okimoto

The new Morning Garden Butterflies Set is just what I needed to complement the Butterfly Ensemble. It's a set of 6 delicately detailed butterflies - and antennae - designed to coordinate with the solid shapes of the Butterfly Ensemble.

Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a decidedly un-seasonal design for you. Just couldn't wait till "butterfly weather" to pair these beauties up with some paper from my stash. It's also been a while since we last followed our bliss - let's combine everything here!

Cut scraps of watercolored paper - painted in soft watery layers of Imagine Crafts Kaleidacolors and Peerless Watercolors - with 3 Butterfly Ensemble designs. Cut the coordinating Morning Garden Butterflies overlays from white cardstock. Cut the antennae from the Morning Garden set from gold mirror cardstock.

Cut a pale blue rectangle of watercolored paper with the 1-¾" x 3" Rectangle Basics die.

Stamp the greeting with Brilliance Pearlescent Jade and dry the ink Cut a rectangle with the 3" x 4-¼" Rectangle Basics die. Having 16 perfectly-sized rectangles to chose from makes it so easy to get everything straight, even and just the right proportion. Thanks Dave!

Attach everything to a Pool Notecard - use foam dots for the top corners of the wings. Add small clear iridescent sequins.
