Good morning Memory Box fans! I hope your long weekend was a good one and found time to play in your craft place. We had a wonderful Memory Box class last week at Simple Pleasures Stamp and Scrapbooking classes. This is one of the cards everyone made!
I love the new Color Burst colors especially Cerulean Blue. I decided to use the Color Burst as a watercolor "paint" for today's card. Mix the Cerulean Blue with water so the crystals are dissolved. I also mixed the Chartreuse in a different palette until the crystals were dissolved. Wet the paper to create a wet on wet technique. Randomly brush the colors on the paper and spritz lightly with water to have the colors run in a random pattern! Makes for a fast and easy watercolored design to die cut.
I die cut the small Antilles Florals right corner from the watercolored paper and adhered into the right corner of the white paper cut from the Stitched Rectangle frame. The Dragonfly was cut from the same sheet of watercolored paper. Fun and easy card to put together with wonderfully bright spring colors!
Thanks for swinging by for a visit today and hope the rest of your week is fabulous
pretty springtime card!
