Brighten someone's Christmas with a glittery giftcard holder - it's easy with the Square Bump Borders!  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with an idea to avoid another shopping trip just to buy a giftcard holder.

Have you noticed how pricey the nice giftcard holders are this year?    Wouldn't you  rather add another $5 to the giftcard instead - and present it in a color-coordinated holder?   Here's an easy way to make a quick holder that you can customize with the right colors.

Cut a 5-½" x 10-¼" piece of lightly textured white cardstock.  Score it and fold it at 4-¼" and 8-½" to make an A-2 card with  a extra 1-¾" wide section on the bottom.  Diecut the edge of the extra section with the Square Bump Border to create a little bump-out tab.

Attach "happy holidays" from the Scribble Christmas set to an acrylic block.  Carefully lift both ends of the greeting, curve them, and press them firmly onto the block again. Use a stamp positioner and stamp it with Imagine Crafts Lilac Posies Memento Luxe.  Emboss it with detail clear powder.

Attach foam dots near the top outer corners of the diecut edge and fold the bottom up to form a pocket.

You can write the giftcard amount just above the pocket line where it'll be hidden until the giftcard is removed.  Secure the giftcard in the pocket with removable glue dot placed on a blank area.

If you're planning to stamp more than one card - check to be sure the curvy ends haven't returned to their original straight design.  They tend to straighten out after a few minutes.  A greeting stamp with an attitude!

Stamp the tree on green cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine and emboss it with detail clear powder.  Cut it with the matching die.  Cut the small tree from green and silver glittered cardstock.  Cut the larger tree from pink and aqua cardstock and trim them to different heights.

Cut the 2-¾" x 4" Stitched Rectangle Trimming from white cardstock.  Attach adhesive along the edges of the inner rectangle.  Attach the narrow frame behind it.  (Lots easier than first attaching the delicate frame by itself.)  Attach them to the card.  Add the trees - use foam dots for the green and silver trees.  Add tiny silver sequins.

Yes,  I promised an easy card - it's a wordy tutorial, but it really is easy.  It's also faster than driving to the store to find a giftcard holder that may or may not match the giftcard.  Details, details!

Thanks for stopping by during the busy holiday season...
