Watercolor Holly
by Penny Ward

Holly-Oval

Hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with a bit of watercoloring. Three Kuretake Brush Pens and a water brush makes this card so simple to pull together. I am really loving the Holly against the Black background.

Let's Make a Card:

Die cut Black card stock with the largest of the Stitched Oval Layers. Make two cuts so you can use one as the "fold" of the card.

On one of the Black ovals, score along the top edge about 1/2 inch down from the top. Glue this small area to the other Black oval.

Die cut Holly Swirl Oval Frame from watercolor paper. Using Kuretake Zig Brush Pens, color/paint the Holly and Berries as desired. For the outside of the frame, I painted that with Delicata Golden Glitz reinker and a paint brush.

Adhere Holly Swirl Oval to Black card base. Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from the Delightful Ornament set onto Black card stock, trim and adhere to card front.

There are a few days left to participate in our November Challenge. Click HERE for all the details.
