The SNOWFLAKE SCROLLWORK SLEEVE die no. 99551 is the perfect accent for the front of a Merry Christmas card, just the spot to tuck in a photograph, a gift card, movie tickets, a note...I think you get the idea.
These are the basic materials I used to make three cards:
- White notecard
- Cranberry Snow Memory Box cardstock
- White cardstock; dark green cardstock
- Memento Tuxedo Black ink
- "merry christmas" from the CL5181 SCRIBBLE CHRISTMAS CLEAR STAMP SET
- SNOWFLAKE SCROLLWORK SLEEVE die no. 99551
- HOLLY LEAF TRIO die no. 99488
- stylus; bone folder
- ribbons from my collection; red sparkly gemstones for berries; red sequins
Card #1:
I stamped "merry christmas" on the ribbon and added the Holly Leaves and the gemstone berries at the top of the card. You can see how the Scrollwork Sleeve pops out a bit from the card front to make it really easy to tuck in whatever you wish.
Because I cut the sleeve from a heavyweight cardstock, I did go over the embossed score line with a stylus and then used a bone folder to make a smooth fold. In this photo you can see how the sleeve folds to the inside of the card:

Love the scrollwork sleeve. It would also work really well in a Christmas framed picture. : )
