Playful Merry Christmas
by Shelby

Good morning everyone.  I hope all who celebrate Thanksgiving had a wonderful holiday.  And now onto the mad slide into the Christmas season!

I pulled out my distress inks today in various green (mowed law and shabby shutters for the background and Forest Moss for the stamp) and paired it up with the Playful Merry Christmas die.  I inked up the plain white cardstock with antique linen and walnut stain and then cut the die.  The great thing about these phrase dies is the ability to curve them or change the shape of them to fit your design.  For today's card, I curved the phrase up so it wouldn't be so boringly straight and also so it would fit better on the front of the A2 card.

For the snow effect, I used UTEE and melted it from the backside so it didn't blow off the paper.  I glued on a few white sequins for a little more texture and voila, another Christmas card done!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit today and hope the rest of your week is fantastic.

That squirrel is super cute on the sentiment and a lovely layout on this beautiful card! TFS

Thanks for stopping by Gail and glad you enjoyed the design!

Your color choices are fantastic. It is such a peaceful scene. The squirrels give the feeling of playfulness and fun amidst the peace. TFS
