Golden Gift by Penny Ward

 

Hello, hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with my newest love in paper...Gold Mirror cardstock.

OH MY WORD!!!

Found it at my local craft store and it die cuts beautifully! But I just had to take this particular Oh So Merry Frame die to the next level....

as a gift card holder.

Here we go:

 

Die cut the Oh So Merry Frame from mirrored cardstock. Very important to keep the pieces below the word Merry.

Flip die over and tape those three pieces back in place.

 

 

For the background panel I used Lindy's Magicals Steel Shimmer on watercolor paper. After that was dry, I added some Gansai Tambi Gold paint and let dry.

 

Adhere Gold Oh So Merry Frame to watercolor panel.

NOTE:  Only glue around the frame area and just along the bottom of the "merry" section, not the actual letters themselves.

This will leave you with an area to slide a gift card.  :)

Card and gift all in one...I like it!
