It's a White Christmas
by Shelby

Good morning Memory Box fans.  I have a quick and easy, yet elegant Christmas design for you today.

For today's card I went with a monochromatic white on white card using 3 dies and a stamp!  This would be very easy to replicate for multiple cards...and who doesn't want that for their Christmas mailing list.  I used the hexagon stitched dies and layered them and on top I used the Deer in the Tree Silhouette.  I added dimension to the deer die using foam dots and stamped the sentiment using pigment Ombre ink from Hero Arts and then embossed in clear embossing powder.

A couple of tips when doing monochromatic cards...make sure you are using the same cardstock for all of the components of your card.  You think white is white until they are together on a card and then all of sudden you realize there are tons of different shades/tones of white:)!!  Also, for this particular die, which has an embossing component to it (the deer), I run the die through the machine twice.  The first time is using the thin metal sandwich and then the second time, the sandwich is set for embossing.

Thanks for stopping by today, and hope the rest of your week is wonderful.

Really Beautiful!!

Love white on white so to me your card is fab, I thought at first look before reading your post that you had been really clever and embossed the deer onto some die cut trees but having the die already to do that makes it even better clever Dave. Thanks for sharing.
