by Jean Okimoto

The little iceskater from STAMPtember's Love and Laughter glides across the lake, framed by the delicate Snowflake Ring.  How can you not love such a sweet guy?  Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with another STAMPtember card featuring the Memory Box holiday set for Simon Says Stamp.

Diecut the 3.2" Stitched Circle Layer from the smoother side of watercolor paper.  Maybe I'm just imagining it - but it seems like diecutting it before stamping compresses the paper and smooths it out and preps it for stamping.  Cover your cutting plate with printer paper if the plate is scratched.

Stamp the bunny and the greeting with Imagine Crafts Onyx Black VersaFine and emboss it with detail clear powder.  Color it with Peerless Watercolors.

Diecut Snowflake Ring from watercolor paper.  Cut strips of Pool and Licorice Distressed Dots.  Attach everything to a Pool Notecard.  Add pale aqua sequins.

For the inside of the card...paint scraps of watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors and dry them.  Stamp and emboss the greetings and diecut them with the Stitched Circle Layer.  Run a waterbrush along the edges of the circles - the colors will build up in the stitches and highlight them.  Just a little trick!

Stamp and emboss the ampersand, then attach the circles.

Hope you like this sweet little card.  Bunny's a bit hidden by the delicate snowflakes - partly because he's shy,  but mostly because I'm just not an advanced color-er like the rest of my Design Team.  I'm happy just to stay  (mostly) inside the lines.

Time to start prepping for my Fall Classes at Impress.  First up is TRICKS, TREATS AND GREETS on October 8th - five Halloween cards and a quick little folded treat holder.  That's also the day of Impress' Holiday Open House - an annual celebration of great products, demos, displays and design inspiration.  See you there!

Thanks for visiting...
