Memory Box has a brand new release of dies that build upon the Fall and holiday release. There are snowflakes, snowglobe items, fancy closure dies, and in the case of my card, a stag. I am thrilled that there is a new deer die because it makes beautiful holiday cards as well as cards for men.
For my card, I created a background using some 140lb watercolor paper and some Color Burst powders. You can definitely play around with the colors you choose for the card. I went with warm Fall colors, but you could just as easily use blues and purples for a winter scene.
Here is a close-up of the background:
The die itself cuts a beautiful window that you can use to layer onto a card or to create a peek-a-boo look that shows through to the inside of the card.

The stag die is gorgeous! It is bound to be a favorite! Beautiful card. I do enjoy watching the deer in my yard. We have two does and 3 fawns currently residing here! This die would make a fabulous holiday card design!
