Millbrook Ornament
by Shelby Thomas

Good morning Memory Box fans.  Well the time has come for me to start doing Christmas cards.  I try to put this off as long as possible, but with Christmas seemingly just around the corner, it's time to get busy!

I've use the Millbrook ornament die which makes for the perfect focal point for this A2 card.  I cut out the snowflakes and the top of the ornament separately using shimmery holographic paper which it appears the camera caught the pattern of the paper perfectly on the top of the ornament!  I layered the snowflakes over top of the existing snowflakes to add some color, pattern and dimension.  The background was completed by layering distress inks and paints (picket fence paint and candied apple stain).

I cut out the background paper and the red layer with the stitched rectangular die set and used my perfect layers tool to add the black layer of cardstock.

Thanks for popping in for a visit today and hope the rest of your week is fantastic.

Very pretty card, Shelby!

Love your background and the card as a whole. TFS.
