Love, Hope and Joy
by Shelby Thomas

Lamp

Good morning Memory Box fans!  I hope you had a wonderful time last week looking at all of the wonderful new dies and the fantabulous creations from the design team.  Today I'm using the new stamp set made exclusively for the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember celebration called Love and Laughter.

Lamp2

I pulled out and dusted off my Copic airbrush system to create the background.  Of course the lamp and wreath were masked before laying down the background.  The simple, yet beautiful lamppost and wreath were colored with Copics.  I stamped the snowflakes with versafine and embossed with fine white detailed embossing powder.  The sentiment was stamped with Hero Arts ombre pigment inks and then heat embossed.

The front panel was cut to 4x5.25 and adhered to the A2 cardbase.  The airbrush system definitely makes for a quick yet dramatic background!  Of course the same background can be created using distress inks or other inks that lend themselves to blending.

Thanks for popping in for a visit today.
