Fancy Poinsettias
by Penny Ward

Hi Memory Box friends. Penny here today with more new goodies from the September Release. If you visit here quite often, you already know I take liberties with the color of Poinsettias. I really wish they came in every color possible. Since they do not....I create my own...like this Aqua Poinsettia.

Let me show you how easy this card is to reproduce:

Start with a White card base. Cut watercolor paper 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Sprinkle on some Autumn Maple Crimson Lindys Magicals, spritz with water and let dry.  Along the right side of this panel, go ahead and die cut the Fanciful Poinsettia Ornament. (so, I am being cheap....we are going to cover the right side of this panel...who will know that you diecut something from it?) Go ahead and die cut the Fanciful Poinsettia Ornament from Aqua cardstock.

From White cardstock and Aqua, diecut the largest of the Circle Bump Borders. Adhere together so the Aqua is just peeking out. Stamp sentiment near the bottom from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set. Adhere twine where the ornaments will hang, tape twine on the backside.

Adhere this panel to the base card using foam adhesive.

Adhere the Fanciful Poinsettias as shown. Only use dots of glue on Poinsettia centers so you can raise the petals a bit.

Add twine bows and Glossy White Crystal Drops as desired.

After this week of new products from Memory Box, which are your favorites?

Happy crafting my friends,

Gorgeous design!
My favorite die from this release is Graceful Cattails, I know not a Christmas one but I just love it!

Such a pretty card. It's impossible to name a favorite...I love dies.

Your card is beautiful. Great color combination.
The Circle Bump Borders are so versatile that they may be my favorite, but the Bird Hose Trio is really cute too.

So many great dies in this new release - very hard to chose just one favorite ! Love your elegant card !

A beautiful card yet again and love the colour scheme too, my favourites I love the Alder star background and the graceful cattails but they are all beautiful in their own way a truly fabulous collection with many more now on my wishlist.

Lovely card with such pretty ornaments and color combo!
So many beautiful new dies on my wish list....the Circle Bump Borders, Enchanted Deer Collage, Dancing Snowflake Square and the Graceful Stag Collage are a few of my favorites!

This is such a stunning card! Absolutely beautiful! I am loving the Circle Bump Borders and especially the ornament with the poinsettia is gorgeous! Love it! Wonderful colors too!

What an eye catching card! I am going to get the Circle Bump Borders. Love the traditional Christmas colors. Thumbs up!

Absolute perfection! Poinsettias are my favorite flower and I especially love the blue one!!! Beautiful card and I love the Circle Bump Borders dies too!! TFS!

Beautiful card--love the aqua poinsettia. My fave this week are the peace die and the Snowflake Joy.

Just delightful card, Penny. Love the sweet little poinsettias!

Penny, your card is just beautiful.
I love the Snowflake Closer die but I love all of the snowflake related dies, they are all beautiful. I also like the Brushstroke Peace die ( I don't have anything like that!) They are all fantastic. A fabulous release of new dies.

Very pretty card. I would love it if poinsettias came in aqua, lol. But at least we can enjoy them that way on your card. I was looking at all the dies trying to decide which is my favorite. I love the little birdhouses but the one die that I think I would be most likely to use a lot is the circle bump border. But all of the dies are very cool.

Beautiful card! Love everything about it!

I think the poinsettia ornament is my favourite die in this release, you can do so much with it!

I love anything with poinsettias, so that would be my favorite dies!

I love the colors you chose! It's fun to mix it up and go non-traditional.

Beautiful card poinsettias are a Christmas favorite of mine and these are so delicate looking just right for a card.
