The new Circle Bump Borders set creates a great frame for the Swirly Ghost Circle - and a few of his Swirling Ghost buddies. Hi, Jean Okimoto here this fall weekend. I was inspired by Melissa's great Blog Blitz card and decided to give you not one - but TWO reasons to add this versatile new border set to your collection.
Everything was going fine...until I realized that the white-side-out Graphite Notecard I used on my first card is no longer available. On to Plan B - re-doing the card using a "back-in-stock" Licorice Notecard. Licorice is the obvious choice for Halloween cards - stock up on them now. This explains why the pic above shows a gray notecard. You'll want to use Licorice instead!
Open the notecard and attach the largest Circle Bump Border and Swirling Ghost Circle to the white side of the card. Have both short edges of the die extend over the edge of the notecard for a complete trim. (I had to trim it a bit...live and learn!) It's easy to position the ghost circle - the two tiny holes at the top indicate the eyes.
Cut Swirling Ghosts from orange cardstock. Attach a scrap of black cardstock behind the ghost on the bottom left corner for ghostly eyes. Attach them to the card - use foam dots at the top of the ghost at the bottom left.
Stamp the greeting - from the Halloween Sideshow Clear Stamps - with Imagine Crafts Habenero VersaFine. Emboss it with detail clear powder. Add green and violet sequins.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to add your comments to all of the Design Team's blog blitz posts from September 19th through the 23rd for a chance to win a great new die from our September Release! The entry deadline is 11:00 PM EST tomorrow night - September 25th. Good Luck - I hope you're a winner!
Love the circle bump borders!!! I don't do Halloween cards but this one sure looks great and I love the placement of the ghosts!
