Hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with a trio of ornaments...in Teal no less! The intricate ornament is a a newbie called Millbrook Ornament. I must admit I am a little in love with that loopy string. Watercolors were used in my sample, but I use that in the loosest terms. :)
Let me show you how:
Start with a watercolor paper panel of 4 x 5.50 inches. Using the ornament stamp from the Delightful Ornament set, stamp near the top right. If you want to follow my colors, I used Surf Blue ink, then stamped again with a bit of Hollyhock ink on just the left side of stamp.
I then just added water around the panel and dropped in a bit of Kuretake Cobalt Blue Brush Pen ink. Let dry.
Die cut the ornament from the Delightful Ornament die set as well as the Millbrook Ornament from watercolor paper. Drop a tiny bit of Time Travel Teal Lindys Magicals onto the die cuts, then spritz with water and watch the magic happen. Let dry.
Die cut the Millbrook Ornament 2 more times (to get that wonderful loopy string).
Adhere strings and ornament tops (painted Metallic silver) to card front as shown.
Die cut Grosgrain Ribbons from Teal and Purple cardstocks. Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from the Delightful Ornaments stamp set. Adhere to left side of card.
Add a tiny bit of White thread and left over snowflakes for interest.
Happy Crafting,
Really great card! I'm more than in love with those loops.
