Making Spirits Bright with the Snowflake Spectacle
by Jean Okimoto

Let it snow with the Snowflake Spectacle, shimmery sequins and a simple greeting from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set.  So many dies, so many stamps...it's a pleasure to pick some favorites from the best designs of the Memory Box 2016 Holiday Collection!  Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with a quick Kaleidacolor-ed winter design for you today.

Press the multicolored inks of the Caribbean Sea Kaleidacolor inkpad onto a large stamp block.  Paint watercolor paper with all of the pretty greens, teals and turquoises.  Let it airdry for a few minutes, then heat-set it with a dry iron on the cotton setting.

Cut the 3-¾" x 4-¾" Stitched Rectangle Layer from textured white cardstock.  Cut the Snowflake Spectacle.  Place it over the watercolored background to fill the openings with your favorite blend of colors.  Trim the watercolor paper so it's slightly smaller than the Stitched Rectangle.

Stamp "believe" - from the Making Spirits Bright stamp set - with VersaMagic Turquoise Gem.  Layer the pieces and attach them to a top-folded 5-¼" square yellow-green card.  Add opalescent turquoise and clear sequins.

I think it's a great card for mass-producing...paint a big sheet of watercolor paper, then enjoy finding the perfect combination of colors for your backgrounds.  Hope you like it!

Big Thanks to everyone from last week's STAMP+A DIE...OH MY! class in Impress.  We laughed and joked a lot...and somehow managed to make 5 colorful summer cards.  Thanks to MaryAnn and Erin too - I know we kept you running to find products to FILL those baskets!  See all of you again in the ASIAN EXPRESS class on Saturday - you'll love the silkscreened papers and cool techniques we'll use on our contemporary cards.

Lovely colors - lovely background - lovely dies! TFS

My kinda colours fab card thanks for sharing.
