Pumpkin Harvest by Penny
Hello friends. Penny here today with yet another new stencil and die from the Holiday 2016 Collection. If this is your first time here, make sure you check all of the posts since July 5th. You will be treated to lots of card samples for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Let me walk you through my creation:
Starting with a White card base, I ran it through my eBosser (Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Grand Calibur) with card stock and the new Falling Maple Stencil to give the card front some texture.
I then inked the panel with Distress inks in Yellow, Browns and Purple. Distressing tool was used along the edges.
Die cut Harvest Pumpkin Oval Frame and colored with Copic markers. A second smaller pumpkin was added using Plump Pumpkin die.
I love to color but I am not great at it. So to be honest....I Googled how to color a pumpkin...who knew there were so many great instructors out there?!?
Journey sentiment was stamped with Onyx Black ink. Smaller pumpkin was adhered with foam adhesive.
Crystal Drops (my new best friend) were added for color.
Would you like a chance to win the Harvest Pumpkin Oval Frame? All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post! You have until 11:59 EST on Sunday, July 10th to enter.
Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for our last day of the Holiday Blog Blitz!
Happy Holiday Crafting,
What a great fall card. So many possibilities with this frame die. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I love your blog. Love the creativity. Love the products. Do not like the music. I find it annoying when I am trying to read . . . .

Something just struck me looking at your beautiful card...I love Fall cards, but I just don't make that many of them, and now that I'm aware of that, hopefully it will change.

I have never tried embossing with a stencil before. What a lovely touch it adds to your wonderful autumn card. Great idea layering the pumpkins...really adds depth.
