Combine the new Poinsettia Band and classic Stitched Oval Layers for a seriously sparkly card that's sure to attract a lot of attention. Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with a quick and easy design that's easy to duplicate for the special people on your list!
Cut the 4.8" tall Stitched Oval Layer from textured white cardstock. Cut Poinsettia Band from the oval. Cut it again from gold mirror cardstock - save the tiny wedge- and diamond-shaped pieces. Cut the Poinsettia sections - and one of the tiny "flowers" - from red glittered craft foam. Leave the pieces in the die- it'll be easier to attach them to the background later.
Cut the 4.4" tall Stitched Oval Layer from a Scor-Tape sheet. Attach it behind the Poinsettia Band cutout on the larger oval. Love how that smaller oval cuts the perfect size and shape of Scor-Tape to secure the Poinsettia Band! Set the gold Poinsettia Band onto the exposed adhesive. Attach the two tiny gold pieces you saved. One is on the left edge of the band near the small flower. The other piece goes below the large flower, near the left edge of the band.
Set the diecut glittered foam pieces into the open areas. Snip the stem from the tiny glittered foam flower and attach it in the center of the top Poinsettia.
Attach the oval to a top-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock. Add gold sequins.
