Making Spirits Bright - really bright - is the theme of tonight's Blog Blitz card!  Hi, Jean Okimoto here, introducing the great trees and snowflakes of my new favorite Christmas stamp and die combo.

View our 2016 Holiday Collection video - and pick your favorite new holiday die, stamp or stencil design.  Leave a comment here telling us what you like best - yes, it's a tough choice, with so many great new products!

We'll have a random selection prizewinner from each blitz post.   The prize from my post?  It's the versatile Making Spirits Bright Clear Stamp Set. Genius Dave designed the snowflakes so they'd be great as summer flowers too...or stamp and diecut them for the  perfect centers to adorn plush felt flowers and succulents!  I'll share a blossom card featuring them that way later in the month.

Back to Christmas cards...

Stamp the trees on white cardstock with Brilliance Pearlescent Lime, Coral, Jade and Lavender and dry the inks.  I didn't even mask them - but that's optional.  Stamp the tree overlay with VersaFine Onyx Black and emboss it with detail clear powder - I used a stamp positioner, but I'll bet you can do it freehand.  Trim the winter scene with the Stitched Oval Layer.

Stamp and emboss the snowflakes and diecut them.  Attach everything to an A-6 (4-⅝" x 6-¼") turquoise card - use foamdots for the snowflakes.  Add a trio of clear iridescent sequins.

Yes, Jean, your card is indeed merry and bright. I like many of the playful die it's like the hedgehogs, but would like and would really use the white pine tree!

Love these bold colors and this fun stamp set! Delightful card!

Oh, the possibilities of the country hills oval frame are endless. Such a lovely die for setting scenes!

Love this simple and colorful card, and my favorite die set is the Pine Branch Oval. Very versatile and classic!

That star on top of the tree is just THE Perfect Finishing Touch. Lovely design :)

I love the colors of your card. Also, love the video featuring all the new dies. I still love the trees.

Fun and colorful card. I like the wise owl die and the country church.

Pretty card. Plush cute reindeer. Hugz

Love the release & the Poinsettia Pillar is my favorite! Your card is wonderful--so festive & fun!

A beautiful, bright Christmas card....love the grand pine tree and the pine branch oval....absolutely could not choose one and not the other. :)

Love the bright colours of your card, my favourites from the video is marais snowflake but I also love the cute reindeer and humble hedgehog but there are so many to choose from that are lovely and would love to give a home to.
From the whole collection I love the gift wrapped pointsettia die, holly swirl oval frame, snowdrift breeze, snowflake spectacle, and oh so many others too.

Beautiful cards!!
I watched the video and it made it so hard to choose. I am loving the frame dies and I love winter deer (NOT so much the ones that eat my shrubs in the winter!!) so the Grand Stag Oval Frame is one of my faves.

I really like the atypical colors you used. I see I need to step out of the box!

I just love the way you overlapped the trees on your card for a fun layered look! I pretty much like all the new releases, but a favorite would be the snowflake dies. They would be great all winter long on projects.

Jean's card is so cute! I love these trees! Very excited about your new release! My favourite new product is the Marais Snowflake! Your video is awesome!

Great card!! I love this stamp set!!

Fun colors for a holiday card.
