We are absolutely thrilled to start sharing the new 2016 Holiday Release with you. There are lots of new stamps, stencils and dies that we hope will inspire you for Fall and Winter cardmaking. The video above is a quick slideshow to kick of this week's blog blitz. If you can't view the embedded video, you can also view it directly on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/V1ingy88N4E The blitz will run from Tuesday, July 6th till Sunday, July 10th with 2 posts a day. As always, there will be chances to win prizes!
As I mentioned before, my most popular card class each year is my 10 in 10 Christmas card class. People seem to like card ideas that allow you to create a large number of cards in a short amount of time. The card above fits into this category. The three windows and snowflakes are all created from one die called Snowflake Spectacle.
To make the card, I placed the die onto white cardstock and cut out the windows/snowflakes. I placed a piece of double-sided adhesive behind the window (I used Elizabeth Crafts adhesive sheets) and sprinkled the whole thing with blue glitter. I added some blue metallic paper behind the white cardstock to make the glitter "pop" even more. To finish the card, I added some rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes.
Here is a close-up of the glitter and the die:
If you need to make more than 20 holiday cards, then this is a good design to use. You can change up the colors and switch to red/green or silver/gold depending on your preferences.
Want to win the new Snowflake Spectacle die? Watch the video above and leave a comment on this post listing your favorite new die featured in the video. You have until 11:59 EST on Sunday, July 10th to enter. Good luck! Don't forget that each designer blog post during the blitz will have a chance to win a prize, so check back often.
My favourite from the video is the country church die because it is so versatile but I really like your card.

I love your fabulous card and the super new die looks great against the glitter background.
I just checked out the video and fell in love with the plush reindeer. That would be just fabulous for christmas tree decorations or to decorate a stocking or even to add to a present tag xx

A gorgeous card, Laura. And yes those 10 cards a class is a wonderful idea. My local stamp store used to do that from July through November. Unfortunately the owner closed the store and moved far away! That die would go over glittered card stock, too. Really great! Thank you! I look forward to the rest of the blog, too!
