Happy Halloween by Lindsay
Hello, and happy Friday!
I have a fun Halloween card to share with you today, using a couple of new products from this release!
I chose a panel of watercolor paper to create my night sky with, because the ink blends so well on it. I used quite a few colors of ink, such as pinks, purples, yellows, and blues. To see how you can create this background, I recommend looking up videos on YouTube, and finding a combination that suites you.
Once I had my colors blended, I added water and white acrylic paint splatters. I allowed it to dry, and then took the Delicate Web Stencil and applied white pigment ink through it. I then sprinkled clear embossing powder onto the webs, and heat set it until the powder was melted. Make sure the ink blended panel is completely dry, as your ink will still be slightly wet, and the powder will stick in places you don't want it to.
After that was done, I took the Haunted Happy Halloween die, and without separating the die, ran it through with the panel. I adhered a piece of typing paper to the back of it that had a generous amount of adhesive on it. I then ran the same die through three more times with black card stock, and layered up each individual letter, and reinserted them back into the panel to get a raised look. I adhered strips of purple glitter paper to the top and bottom of the panel, and adhered it to a white card base.
I hope you've enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Now that is creepy. So appropriate.
