Color Blocking by Penny
Hey friends. Penny here today with a card that is so simple to recreate, you will finish it in mere minutes. And as a bonus...you actually end up with a couple of cards. Simple but striking with this color block look.
Let's get to it:
Cut colored card stocks to 4 x 5.25. Die cut Silver Springs Butterfly along the left edge of each card stock.
Die cut White card stock using the same die. (Cut two from the White card stock and you end up with two cards). :)
Flip colored and White card stocks so the back is facing you. Line up all three pieces so they fit together. Using Multi Medium Matte glue, adhere all intersecting edges. Let dry.
Flip over and stamp New Possibilities sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
Adhere your three color card front to a White card base with foam adhesive.
Die cut Pippi Butterfly from White card stock and adhere to card front as shown.
Add Rhubarb, Glossy White and Caribbean Ocean Crystal Drops as desired.
Wasn't that fun?!?
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Make sure to check back tomorrow for more inspiration from the Memory Box Designers.
Happy Crafting,
Love it! I don't think I'll find it that easy but I'm certainly going to try. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful card. I love that die and how the color blocking really highlights it. Getting two cards for the price of one is an excellent idea I can go for. TFS
