Bumblebee Daydreams bees buzzing around the Zinnia Bouquet create a quick garden card for summer greetings today. Pretend it's this summer's newest hybrid...a multi-colored zinnia! Hi there, Jean Okimoto here, with another something old/something new - and something in between - design for you. I love combining products from different releases - it's just another way to get the most from our favorite Memory Box products.
Scrunch some deli-sandwich wrap or waxed paper and rub it briskly over the detailed Zinnia Bouquet die, especially the flowertops. This will help release the die from the gold mirror cardstock - and make it easier to remove the tiny little pieces from the die.
Attach adhesive label (or sticker sheet) paper to orange, chartreuse and pink felt and cut the Zinnia Bouquet Background. The extra backing stabilizes the felt and keeps any liquid adhesives from saturating it.
Stamp the bumblebees on bright yellow cardstock with VersaFine Onyx Black and heat-set the ink. Diecut them. Fill the interior of the wings with glue and pour iridescent glitter onto the adhesive. Set it aside to set up.
Stamp Seeds of Happiness on the smoother side of light yellow cardstock with Onyx Black and dry the ink. Cut it with the 1-½" Stitched Square Layer.
Attach everything to a top-folded A-2 card of light yellow cardstock - use foamdots for the bees.
There it is...quick and easy! Thanks for stopping by again...enjoy the rest of your weekend. Penny's great card will be featured tomorrow!
