Unlikely Flag by Penny
Hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with a bit of an unusual flag creation. This would make a really cute invitation for an Independence Day party. Who says a flag has to have the proper amount of stars and stripes?!?
Super simple to pull together...Let's get going:
Cut a Red card base. Cut White card stock just a bit smaller, run the left and top edge along a Delicata Shimmery Silver ink pad and adhere to base.
Die cut Grosgrain Ribbons and Isabella Butterfly from White card stock. I used and eBrush on my die cuts, but paint, colored pencils...anything will do.
Adhere die cuts as shown. Stamp sentiment from Party Time with VersaFine Majestic Blue ink. Add iridescent stars to butterfly wings and Glossy White Crystal Drops to butterfly body.
What a fun and Patriotic card.
Make sure to enter our monthly challenge HERE...prizes involved, just sayin'.

How stunning. . . . I was just sitting here wondering what my Independence Day Card would be this year and you answered my question! Gotta get started. . . . it will be here before we know it! Great card and a great idea. If you wanted to use it for a different celebration, just change out the color scheme and "ZAP" you have a great card for birthday, graduation, (using school colors, hint, hint), retirement and any number of days to celebrate! Nice work Penny and big hugs to the puppy!

Would love to know what company the tiny stars that you used on the butterflies came from. Love your whole card but those tiny stars just finished it off so perfectly. Thanks in advance if you can reply. (cocrafter at gmail dot com)
