Welcome to the 2nd day of summer! I had a fun play with some deli paper and the Ranger Distress Crayons to create a unique effect for today's cards.
The Dizzy Butterflies die was cut from deli paper which had been colored up with the distress crayons and then die cut. The background paper was created with Distress Inks (peacock feathers and Squeezed lemonade) with a water technique and the edging was done with the same DI colors sponged onto the cardstock.
Same technique and design elements for this card. I just changed up the colors to Seedless Preserve and Festive Berries for the Distress Ink Colors.
Popped on some flat back clear glass embellishments to finish the card off. If you've not played with deli paper, it's fun and relatively easy and the look is different every time!
Here is a tutorial showing how I created the design of the card using the Peacock Feathers and Squeezed Lemonade color palette.
