Thoughts of a Butterfly
by Penny

Happy-butterfly

Hello, hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today. How stinkin' cute is this Memory Box Thought Cloud with all of its dimension?!? Couldn't resist adding a Butterfly embellishment to it. I imagine that sentiment is what is on all butterflies minds...when you look at one, doesn't it make you happy to see them flitting by?

Let's create this card:

Start with a base of Teal card stock. The top layer is very pale Gray card stock. Stamp the Happiest sentiment near the bottom using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and emboss the upper portion of the panel with a We R Memory Keepers Wavy folder. Wrap a matching ribbon around the front.

On watercolor paper I used a little of everything. The Brigitte Butterfly is Shimmerz Creameez Boogie Boardin' Blue, Strawberry Fields and Firm Foundation. For the Thought Clouds I used Creameez Just Peachie along with Shimmerz Golden Wheat, Pumpkin and Teal the End of Time.

Let the watercolors dry then die cut Brigitte Butterfly and Thought Cloud

NOTE:  For the Brigitte Butterfly I did not punch out all the tiny pieces, rather keeping them in place with a bit of glue slathered to the backside.

Large cloud was adhered with double foam adhesive, next smallest only has one layer of foam adhesive.

Faux pearls were added to Butterfly body.

So...what do you think. Pretty Easy Peasy Mr. Sneezy?!?
