Summer Butterflies by Penny
Hello Memory Box friends. Penny here today with a card fit for summer. Flowers, butterflies and a little bling! I am so loving the technique of using a die to emboss with. Yes, look closely...beneath the butterflies and twine I have embossed rather than using the die to cut with.
Let's make a card:
Start with a base card of medium Pink card stock 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Cut White card stock just a bit smaller in width.
Using the Modern Blooming Frame stencil, eBrush with bright Copic markers. Emboss this panel with Silver Springs Butterfly die as shown.
Adhere airbrushed panel to base, then wrap with Grape Burlap String. Die cut the two smallest butterflies from the Rylan Butterfly Stem with Pink card stock. Color the edges of butterflies with a dark pink marker and add Stardust Stickles. Adhere to card front.
Die cut Paintbrush Happy two times, stack and adhere together. Add Stardust Stickles, let dry.
Stamp and heat emboss sentiment from Birthday Bunnies set onto Black card stock, trim and adhere to card with foam adhesive.
Add Liquid Pearls to Butterfly bodies as desired.
This card is so versatile, it is just a matter of changing the sentiment to work with most any occassion.
Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting.

Anyone would be pleased to get this card - it raises your spirits immediately. what a range of techniques. I love how you have bound the twine to make a statement but still use the more ethereal quality it gives.
