Inlaid Rose Bouquet
by Lindsay

Hello friends!

I have a fun die cut card to share with you today, using the English Rose Collage die. This die is amazing, let's see how I used it today.

I won't lie, this card was time intensive, but I believe anyone can do it. The inlaid die cut technique is one of my favorites, and when I have time, it can be a really relaxing way to spend my crafty moments! I started by applying a mix of purple watercolor wash over a panel of watercolor paper. I allowed it to dry, and then ran my floral die through. You may need a shim, or a extra pressure to cut all of the intricate pieces.

I backed the panel with a piece of copy paper covered in adhesive, and began reinserting pieces of card stock, previously cut out with the same die. I just used tweezers to get a hold of the small pieces and inserted them in their corresponding slots. Once they were all in, I added line detail to the leaves with a dark green marker, and placed it onto a card base with glitter paper.

I hope you give it a try with some of your Memory Box dies! I would love to see! Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!
