A Honeycomb Thank You
by Lindsay

Summer is finally here in my neck of the woods, and I love it! I also love the new dies from Memory Box, combined with ink blending! I chose a couple of dies from the latest release to showcase on my project today. Let's take a look!

The Honeycomb Background die is so fun, and I decided to make it the focus of my project, by ink blending a few bright masculine colors of ink, and running it through my die cut machine with the die.

I started by blending in a lime green, turquoise, and bright blue from different sides of my paper. I then die cut the paper, and left in a few of the pieces, taping them in with clear tape. I added foam to the edges, as well as to the inlaid pieces, and popped it up onto a white card base.

I then die cut the Honeycomb Background again, using black card stock, and reinserting a few pieces here and there. I then die cut the Thank You from the Thank You Tiles die, and adhered those before covering them in Glossy Accents.

How do you use your background dies? Do you paint them, ink blend? The possibilities are endless! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I like this card. It is so versatile, depending on the message you add, and suitable for both sexes, a rare best indeed.

This is beautiful Lindsay! I like to try doing different things with background dies, anything from distressing to foiling and anything in between!
