Hi everyone,
I have a project for you today which features one of the new plush flower dies. I hope you had a chance to see Laura's tutorial yesterday for creating these flowers. I used the Plush Gardenia die to create my flower that I used as a gift box topper. Instead of shaping each petal into a flower shape, I stacked the petals on top of each other to form my flower. I die cut all the petals from the set using cardstock and misted the petals with water before scrunching them. Once the petals dried, I hot glued them on top of each other, going from the largest to the smallest. Once they were all glued together, I scrunched each petal towards the center to shape it.
The flower center is from an artificial flower, and the leaves were die cut from the bottom leaves in the set.
Wrap the gift box with patterned paper and tie jute around it. You can stamp any sentiment depending, on the occasion, but these would be particularly cute for Mother's Day.
I hope you enjoyed one more way to use the new plush flower dies.
Have a great day!
beautiful...

Very pretty and a nice alternative to the traditional bought paper bow, and nice to see the plush dies working with card stock too. Thanks for sharing.
