Felt Possibilities by Penny
Hello Memory Box fans. Penny here today with more goodies from the new collection. Felt projects are all the rage right now and Memory Box delivers with so many new dies just perfect for that soft pliable fabric. One pass through my diecutting machine and I have Felt flowers to play with.
Let's get started:
Begin with a Medium Gray card stock. Die cut a Light Gray card stock with Honeycomb Collage and trim just a bit on one long side to give a little contrast at the bottom of the card.
Die cut the Plush Gardenia from three different colors of Felt. As this was my first time playing, not sure that I made them right, but I was still happy with the result of the flowers, so I just went with it. Start with the smallest petal, squish between fingers, add hot glue and adhere to the center of the next largest petal. Repeat steps for next largest petal.
Die cut Pointed Leaf from vellum two times. Arrange on card front as desired and adhere, then adhere flowers.
Stamp New Possibilities onto a scrap of Peach card stock using VersaFine Onyx Black ink, trim and notch one end, then adhere under flowers.
Add sequins as desired.
So my Felt flowers do not look like the example on the Memory Box packaging....I will work on that! :)
