Brighten someone's day with a trio of Stitched Tulips, Stitched Oval Layers and pretty spring colors. Add a quick greeting from the Springtime Bunnies Clear Stamp Set, some Zippy Dots and sequins. Hi there - Jean Okimoto here with a quick spring design for you.
Ovals are a great shape for backgrounds and frames. The Stitched Oval Layers set has 8 ovals - they're the perfect design element for seasonal cards...spring-ish, with a hint of Easter eggy-ness.
Spritz watercolor paper with water. Ink a 4" soft rubber brayer with Riviera Kaleidacolor - be sure the roller is completely inked. Spritz the brayer with water, then roll the diluted inks diagonally across the watercolor paper. Dry the inks, then cut it with a Stitched Oval Layer. Cut it with Stitched Tulips.
Stencil some Zippy Dots along the bottom of the oval with Brilliance Pearlescent Thyme.
Cut another slightly larger oval from white cardstock. Attach doublestick tape behind the leaf cutouts. Attach a scrap of cardstock from a Granny Smith Notecard behind the oval to create a green background for the glitter. Brush lime green glitter onto the adhesive in the leaf openings.
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to lavender felt and cut two sets of the Stitched Tulip flower tops. Layer them above the stems. The paper stabilizes the felt and keeps liquid adhesives from seeping thru. Use the high-quality wool-blend felts for great results - Impress has a beautiful assortment of them.
Stamp "happy spring" - from the Springtime Bunnies Clear Stamp Set - on pale green cardstock with Memento Luxe Espresso Truffle. Emboss it with detail clear powder.
Attach everything to a Key Lime Notecard - use foam dots for the greeting. Attach clear yellow green sequins.
