Spring Scene by Melissa Rusk
Happy Wednesday! I have a fun little Spring scene card today that was inspired by my Grandmother's sugar egg collection. I always loved looking into those eggs when I was little so I was excited to try and recreate that in a card.
To start the card I die cut all of my pieces. I used the two largest ovals in the Studio Oval Layers set to create the outer frame of the card. I glued the large blue oval to the card and then started to create my scene by gluing the layers of grass to the card. Layers of foam tape helps the grass to pop.
Then I added in my animals in the different layers of grass and the butterflies in the sky. Finally I used three layers of foam tape to glue down the white oval frames to the front of the card. For a finishing touch of sparkle, I used a clear Wink of Stella brush pen over the butterflies and the white oval frame and white pearls for the butterfly bodies.
I hope you have a great day and are enjoying some Spring weather like we are!
Such a sweet scene!
