Small Billow Flower
by Melissa Rusk

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today I have a fun technique to share how to create stamps with your dies.

For this trio of cards, I die cut the Small Billow Flower and the Small Billow Flower Background using craft foam. I die cut three sets, one for each color of ink I wanted to use.

Put a little bit of tape or glue on the back of the foam and glue it to an acrylic block and ink up your foam stamp. Stamp the background of the flower first all over the paper.

Then using the same ink, stamp the detail layer on top. The ink will get darker where it has been stamped more than once to create the tone on tone look.

Once the flowers have been stamped you can then add in the leaves. I die cut a piece of cardstock with the Small Billow Flower Background to create a mask to protect the flowers when stamping the leaves.

Last, add a sentiment and some pearls and you have a stamped trio of cards. I would love to hear if you have ever tried making stamps with craft foam and your dies. It's a lot of fun. Have a wonderful week and be sure to stop by the blog for more inspiration.

I've never even thought about cutting stamps! It will work brilliantly with a gelli plate as well. Great cards. All very cheering after my area was trashed by a storm last night.
