Good morning Memory Box fans. Easter, for those who celebrate, is just around the corner, and I'm finally on time for a Holiday! I've made a shaker card with the wonderful "Happy Easter" die. I cut the "egg" out of the white panel for the main shape (negative part of the die) and then cut again on paper colored with distress inks for the positive portion of the die.
The shaker portion was created using the Fuse tool from We R Memory Keepers and then filled with various shaker elements. I cut the Prairie grass twice for a layered look and then placed the eggs and chicks within the grass. The paper behind the shaker element was created using distress ink refills and an acrylic block. The distress colors were peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade and mowed lawn. The grass was also cut from watercolor paper colored with distress inks using the refills and blocks using mowed lawn and twisted citron.
Thanks for swinging by today for a visit, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!
love the "wall" background of this card
