Butterfly Wreath by Penny
Hello Memory Box fans. Penny here today. Bright watercolors swirled together has this card screaming Spring! Are you a novice at watercolors? If so, this card is just what you need to recreate. So easy to do!!!
Let me show you how:
Start with watercolor paper cut to 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Die cut the Butterfly Wreath from white card stock. Lay the wreath on the watercolor paper and add masking fluid to the center. Gotta let it dry...sorry.
Start adding watercolor around the masked area. I used four Peerless watercolors, yet you see about eight colors because they blended together.
Again...more drying time.
Peel up the masking fluid..wala...white center! Adhere the White Butterfly Wreath over the watercolor.
Add a panel of Aqua card stock to the bottom and stamp sentiment from the Party Time set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Die cut Grosgrain Ribbon from Amber card stock and adhere over seam.
Die cut Garland Greenery from Mint card stock and finish with a die cut Plush Bow.
Pretty Pink Posh Kindness sequins and Clear dots were added for a little something, something!
Thanks so much for fluttering by. Make sure to check out our monthly Challenge here and play along. Prizes involved!!!
Make it a crafty day,
