Here's someone - from the Springtime Bunnies set - who's been patiently awaiting the arrival of Spring. The Stitched Tulips behind him help welcome the new season in a burst of glitter. Hello - Jean Okimoto here - with some last-minute pink inspiration for our February Think Pink Challenge.
Spritz watercolor paper lightly with water. Spritz it with Pear Tart, Tangelo and Lilac Posies Fireworks! Let the colors blend and air-dry for a few minutes, then spritz it with Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz. Set it aside to dry while you stamp and diecut.
Stamp the bunny from the Springtime Bunnies Clear Stamp Set on watertcolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black. Heat-emboss it with detail clear powder. Stamp and emboss "happy spring" from the set too. Color the bunny's ears and nose with pink Peerless Watercolors.
Cut the bunny with the matching die from the Springtime Bunnies Dies Set. Cut the watercolored background and greeting strip with Stitched Rectangle Layers. Use the inner edge of larger rectangle dies to trim off the excess cardstock. Cut two sets of tulips from peach glittered cardstock. Attach a tiny pompom for the bunny's tail.
Cut a strip of green cardstock and attach it behind the watercolored rectangle. Attach everything to a pink notecard. Attach clear pink sequins.
Thanks for stopping by - see you again this evening.
Fabulous Dies! Your card is so bright and cheerful - nicely done TFS
