Whimsical Watercoloring
by Lindsay

I am so excited about this week, because the fabulous new release is here! There are so many fun dies, and products to choose from, I personally can't chose a favorite. I also couldn't stop creating, hence my two cards today!

For my first card, I took the lovely Starlit Breeze die, and ran it through twice on my card base. I set that aside, and worked on my watercolor piece. Once it was dry, I ran the Paintbrush Happy Die through, along with the Starlit Breeze die, saving the stars. I adhered a piece of typing paper to the back of my card front, which had a generous amount of tape runner on it, and began reinserting the stars, along with black card stock pieces that were also ran through with the die.

For the sentiment, I white heat embossed the birthday word from the Birthday Bunnies stamp set, onto black card stock, and trimmed it down to a little piece. I placed the Happy die over it, and adhered them both down to my card front.

For the next card, I took the amazing Drifting Butterfly Frame, and did a bit of slicing to it. First, though, I used my watercolors to create a blended backdrop for my butterflies to stand out against. While the watercolors were drying, I took the frame, and cut off the bottom portion, keeping one of the bigger ones for the bottom of the card.

I adhered the watercolor panel to a card base, and then the frame, added the sentiment (from Birthday Bunnies), and a few sequins. So, what are your favorites from the release? Leave a comment about what you like so far, and you could be the random winner for the Starlit Breeze die! Good luck, and thanks so much for joining me today!
