Hello Memory Box friends....Penny here today with a just released die that is a must have. To be honest, I wasn't sure what the Heart Sleeve die was actually for, but we artist can make them anything we want...right? To me it looked as though it would hold a picture perfectly, and with a small trim, it did.
This is the same frame, just no picture inserted. Kind of cute just on it's own!
Let's make a frame:
Trim White card stock to 4 x 5.50, ink edges with Memento Luxe Rose Bud. Stamp Hope in your Heart sentiment with same ink.
Die cut Heart Sleeve, ink with Memento Luxe Angel Pink, Rose Bud and Sweet Plum until happy with results.
Score Heart Sleeve on score lines and adhere to sentiment panel.
Die cut Homespun Heart and use a few of the small hearts to add to your frame after you have inked them.
Die cut the second to largest of the Stitched Octagon Layers. Score across the top at about an inch. Adhere small scored portion to back of Heart Sleeve to make an easel.
Embellish hearts with irRESISTible Pico Shimmer and let dry.
Trim photo and slide into Heart Sleeve.
Pretty Easy Peasy Mr. Sneezy and wouldn't this frame be so cute sitting on a desk?!?
Thanks so much for stopping by today...Can't wait to see what you come up with for using this unique Heart Sleeve die,
Very clever and very pretty.

I agree with Jan D., this project turned out very pretty. I was surprised to read that you inked the new die after you had cut it. It must be more sturdy than it looks. I worry that mine would be in at least 3-4 pieces if I did that.

You always take it to the next level and turn the ordinary into extrordinary. It's really sweet, and I love the colors.
