Let's make three more calendar pages with our Memory Box and Open Studio dies and Peerless Watercolors. Jean Okimoto here with more of our 2016 calendar - have fun with these pretty colors and shimmery sequins! The cute little calendars are from Impress.
They all begin with an Open Studio Stitched Pinpoint Layer...then add splashes of color, more diecuts, and a scattering of pretty sequins. I've designed these as calendar pages, but they'd be nice birthday cards too - create personalized greetings by highlighting the date of someone's birthday.
Diecut watercolor paper and paint it with Peerless Watercolors. Paint a scrap of watercolor paper with the blues and purples, dry it, then cut the Open Studio Come Rain or Shine umbrellas. Attach a piece of Scor-Tape behind silver mirror cardstock and cut the handles. Trim the top of the handles a bit before attaching them to the umbrellas. Add teal and purple sequins.
Cut the background and a portion of Blooming Poppy from watercolor paper. Paint them with Peerless Watercolors. Attach tiny opalescent white sequins.
Paint watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors. Cut it with the Sorona Butterfly. Cut Lydia Butterfly from watercolor paper and attach both pieces to a diecut background. Add clear mini sequins and opalescent purple sequins.
Thanks very much for stopping by - hope you're enjoying this little calendar series as much as I enjoy sharing the ideas with you!
