Merry Christmoose by Penny
Hello Memory Box friends...Penny here today. I absolutely love Blue Christmas cards, and isn't it convenient that Blue is the perfect color for shadows in snowdrifts?!? This card is really simple to make so just follow along:
Start with White card stock cut 4.25 x 10 1/2 inches, fold in half for a base card.
Cut White card stock 4 x 5.50 inches. Flick Masking Fluid across this panel, let dry. Tear a piece of printer paper into a snowdrift shape to use as a mask. Starting near the top with your snowdrift mask, begin swiping Ranger Stormy Sky ink onto white panel. Move the snowdrift mask and continue adding swipes of ink until you are happy.
Darken the top of the card by inking with Ranger Sapphire.
Stamp the trees with Simon Says Stamp Caribbean Blue ink. Rub off the Masking Fluid to reveal the "snow".
Stamp sentiment using Imagine Crafts VersaFine Majestic Blue ink. Using a White Gel Pen, go around the sentiment to highlight.
Wrap twine around card front and adhere to base card.
Stamp, die cut and color adorable Moose...don't forget to add his scarf and adhere over twine with foam adhesive. Add a few Sparkling sequins for fun.
I believe some Christmas cards should be fun and some sentimental...today you got fun!
We would love to see the cards you are making with the Moose Crossing stamp set on our Facebook page.
Have a wonderful crafty day,
he is too cute and such a wonderful job on that background!!
