Joy to You and Yours in this Holiday Season!
by Anne Thompson

Greetings!  I've been making and sending out a lot of cards this  month.  The one I'll show today is one of my favorites.  I used five dies to pull together a simple wreath card.

  • STUDIO CIRCLE LAYERS 30016   I used the two circle dies shown in the first photograph to make a circle frame that I used for the base of the wreath.  I cut this from Key Lime Distressed Dots paper and added it to the front of a Memory Box White Notecard.
  • BLISSFUL BUNDLE 99235   I cut three of these from the Key Lime Distressed Dots paper and attached them loosely to the circle frame with glue dots under the center berry circles and nearby leaves which I then covered with white pearls in three sizes.
  • STITCHED BOWS 30056   I cut the medium sized bow from Blueberry Distressed Dots paper and assembled it with glue dots.  I placed it on the left side of the wreath using a glue dot.
  • CURLED RIBBONS 98936   I cut the curled ribbons from the same Blueberry paper and slid the one with a single loop over one side of the bow for a bit more ribbon on the wreath.

  • SKETCHBOOK JOY 99242   I cut this from more of the Blueberry paper, gluing it to the front of the card in the lower left, near the bow.  I used a lime green gem for the dot.

I love the dimensionality of this card!  Enjoy the holidays and I'll be back in the New Year with more ideas to share.

Thanks for sharing with us!

Thanks for your comment, Lynn. I'm always trying to think of different ways to combine the dies I have. Wait til you see what Memory Box has for the new year! All the best to you and yours! Happy Holidays!!! Anne

Lovely use of all the dies, pretty color combo too, and the pearls and gem are great touches with it!
