Flying Angel by Penny
Hello friends...Penny here today with a bit of fun. When I received the Paper Angel die, I knew I wanted to make her dance in the wind. Having never made an interactive card, it was really quite easy after I did a little investigation on the big WWW.
Let me show you how:
Cut White card stock 4.25 x 5.50 inches. Cut another piece of White card stock 4.25 x 11 inches. With the two pieces together, die cut the Stitched Octagon.
Your machine will not cut the longest piece, but will leave an impression so you know exactly where the die needs to be placed and run through machine again.
With the long piece of White card stock, score and fold in half.
With the short Stitched Octagon panel, stencil with Starry Nights and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Texture Luxe in Pearl. Let dry. Add twine with bow and stamp sentiment using VersaFine Majestic Blue ink.
To make Angel: Put down several strips of double sided tape onto White card stock. Add fine White Glitter and burnish with finger. Die cut Paper Angel two times.
Cut a 9 inch piece of fine fishing line. Adhere front of Angel to back of Angel with the fishing centered in the middle. Let dry.
Assemble card by placing Angel and fishing line over base card and adhere with tape. Trim fishing line as needed. Add the front panel to base card so you have sandwiched the fishing line.
The little kiddos receiving this card are going to love that the Paper Angel is animated.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you found inspiration to try your own interactive card.
Happy crafting,
Awesome! Love the unexpected dark blue ink for the sentiment, too.
