Rainbows and Butterflies
by Lindsay

Hello friends!

I am stopping in today to share a bright rainbow inspired card, using quite a few fabulous Memory Box products! I know the snow is going to appear any time, hence the need for a bright and happy card! Watch out gray skies! I have a rainbow here!

I started with the amazing Stitched Lattice Background, die cutting it from white card stock. I took a rainbow of colors from my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers, and added color to the bottom portion of each diamond, blending the color upwards with a waterbrush.

I set that aside to dry, and began die cutting the lovely Stitched Vivienne Butterfly from Vellum. Next, I die cut the Sketchbook Love from black card stock, multiple times, and glued them together to get a thicker piece. I then adhered the panel to a white card base with lots of foam tape, and adhered the butterflies, and Love die cut to it. To finish it, I adhered a few black sequins to tie in the black of the sentiment.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you give rainbows a try on your next project!

Loving the colours and the idea...What a wow and stunning card x

I've been so anxious to see the stitched lattice background die used on a card...it just spoke to me when I saw it released. Love it so much...nice use of the dies. TFS

Lindsay this is so beautiful - love your watercoloring!!!

Thank you so much, everyone!

What a lovely, cheerful and simple card. Super!

Truly beautiful! The clean colours against the white and black cardstock makes the geometric motif pop, love it!
