Hello my Memory Box friends...Penny here today with an unusual color combo. The Aqua makes me think of Tiffany's gift boxes (we should all be so lucky to receive one...still waiting here). And what is a Christmas card without red?

Let's Make a Card:

Make a base card from Aqua card stock measuring 4.25 x 11 inches, folded in half.

Cut watercolor paper 4 x 5.50 inches. Swirl water around the middle section out towards the right side of card. Now start adding some Aqua watercolors. When you are happy, finish the panel by flicking Aqua paint and let dry.

Cut watercolor panel at an angle as shown. Adhere top section to card base with foam adhesive.

Die cut Poinsettia Ribbon from Red card stock and adhere to watercolor on the angle.

Die cut Poinsettia Ribbon from White card stock and spritz with Lady Bug Fireworks Spray. Let dry, trim away "ribbon" and adhere over Red Poinsettia. Add Red Faux Pearl to flower center.

With the left over bottom watercolor panel, die cut the Sketchbook Joy. Adhere this bottom panel to bottom of card base.

Die cut Sketchbook Joy two times from Aqua card stock. Stack and adhere all three sentiment die cuts together making sure the watercolor one is on top and adhere to card front.

Adhere Aqua Pearl as the tittle of the letter J.

So there you have it. A most unusual Christmas card, but it works.

Hoping you have a very crafty day,

I just bought the poinsettia ribbon die a couple of weeks ago and I love it. It cuts great and the details are so pretty. Had a crafting day at my house last week, so we used that die for one of our cards...it's really beautiful when using metallic cardstock. Love your card.

Gorgeous, Penny :)

Penny, as usual ... a work of art! Love the color combination, too.

love it
