Winter Joy by Sherry Hester
Happy Sunday to everyone! I have a very quick and simple card to show you today.
I started with a white card base, and added a strip of light blue card stock. I die cut the Poinsettia Border from white card stock, removed all of the leaves, and saved the center of the smallest poinsettia. I adhered the border onto the blue strip. I slathered glue onto the saved center and sprinkled it with gold glitter, then added it to the center of the largest poinsettia.
I added a dot of glue to the centers of the remaining poinsettias and sprinkled them with gold glitter. I adhered a strip of double sided tape to the top and bottom of the blue piece, removed the cover layer and sprinkled them with the gold glitter as well.
I die cut the Sketchbook Joy from white card stock, applied glue and sprinkled that with the gold glitter, and then adhered where shown.
It took no time at all to put this card together. And for a change, for me at least, no bling, stamping, stenciling or sponging was used! By the way, in real life, the glitter shows up much more shimmery than I was able to capture in the photos.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful card. The colors are so soft.
