Snowflake Shaker

Happy Holiday weekend to everyone celebrating and hopefully enjoying the Labor Day weekend!

I've been playing around with different designs for shaker cards and I'm just loving this newest release...it's so easy to create fast and fun shaker cards!

I used the die Stitched Snowflake Circle and cut it out twice.  Once in the decorative paper to create the circle (negative portion of the die) and then again with the purple cardstock.  Then I used the stitched circle (positive portion of the die) and inlaid it into the circle made in the decorative paper.  Another great idea, which I'll do next time, is to cut the die again with a different colored paper and use just the snowflakes from the inner circle to create another color in the design and adhere with foam tape for dimension!

The shaker pouch for this card was created using a photo sleeve and my fuse tool!  I traced around the outside of the die with a sharpie and then followed the lines with the fuse tool leave just a small section open to insert the shaker elements.  Once the shaker elements were inside, I sealed the last portion of the pouch with the fuse tool.  Again, easy and a whole let less messy.  I used foam tape to adhere the front panel (decorative paper and pouch) to the purple cardstock and then to the A2 card base.

Thanks for swinging by on this gorgeous Saturday!  I hope everyone has a great weekend and stays safe.

Beautiful, beautiful creation, Shelby! Love the idea of mixing sequins with micro beads! I have to try this too!

Thanks Olga. And microbeads are perfect for finding out if this is a "hole" anywhere in your shaker element!
