Quick and Easy Fall Card
by Anne Thompson

Here's a quick and easy fall card using the BLOOMING LEAF BORDER stamp no. CS2046F (woodmounted F2046).   Love the stamp but don't want to do a lot of coloring?  Stamp and emboss on a watercolored background!

I smooshed Distress Inks  onto my craft sheet, spritzed it with water, and then blotted up the color with watercolor paper.  Once the paper was dry I cut a 2" X 5" strip for a card front.  I stamped BLOOMING LEAF BORDER  in brown ink and used clear embossing powder to heat-emboss the image.  I glued the piece onto a Squash notecard and trimmed the length to fit.  I added a strip of Vanilla Bean Distressed Dots paper and a ribbon tied in a bow to finish the card.  Easy Peasy!

I have the rest of the ink-colored watercolor paper cut into strips, Distressed Dots paper cut into strips, and the stamp, brown ink, clear embossing powder, and my heat tool at hand along with a stack of notecards in Squash, Jack O' Lantern, and Kraft.  In no time at all I'll have a lot of cards assembled!  I can stamp any number of sentiments inside the card, making it the perfect card for any fall occasion.

Happy Crafting!

Very pretty and always good to have quick cards in the arsenal. I absolutely love Memory Box dies, but I also love MB cardstock....such good quality and pretty patterns and colors. I keep it stocked in my stash all the time...in fact, I have a dedicated plastic bin just for MB. (grin)
