It is the first of the month, so that means it is time to announce another Memory Box Challenge. The design team will provide a few samples for inspiration and hope you will play along with the theme through the end of the month. You will even have the chance to win prizes!
Speaking of prizes, the winner of the Small Flame Rolling Pin from Birch press design was Maureen Chandler. Thanks to everyone who entered the contest.
The winner of our blog badge for last month's "red, white, and blue" challenge is Penny Ward from Penny Ward Ink. Her take on the challenge was so much fun!
The lucky winner of the draw for the monthly prize is Deeper Than Paper.
Please contact me at [email protected] to claim your prize.
Want to play along in this month's challenge? The rules are simple - just create a project following the theme, use at least one Memory Box stamp or die on your project and link your entry to this blog post. You can make a card, a scrapbook page, a home decor item, etc.. To encourage participants with various levels of stamping experience, one entry will be selected at random to win a prize. In addition, the design team will select their favorite entry to be highlighted on the Outside the Box blog and that designer will receive our winner badge to proudly display on their blog.
You don't have to have a blog in order to participate. You can upload your project to any online gallery and link it to this post. In fairness to other players, we reserve the right to remove entries that do not use at least one Memory Box product. You can enter as many times as you like, and you are welcome to link your design to other challenges. Grab our badge to post on your blog post or side bar!
With hot summer days in full gear, it is so nice to think about cool breezes, frosty drinks, or even dreams of cold winter weather. For this challenge, submit a project with ways to cool down. Let your imagination go wild. You could use ice cream cones, snowflakes, fans, the beach, etc. You can interpret the theme however you want.
Need a little inspiration? Here are some samples from the design team to get you started!

Ready to create your own "cool" project? Link your finished work below. You have until the end of the day (EST) on August 29 to enter. One project will be chosen at random to win the following prizes:
Oh, my. These are all so pretty. I did already purchase one of the citrus die sets and I have had so much fun with it...lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges...lots of great uses. I guess I now need the "cheers" word die....don't have that one. (grin)
